Innovation in NDT Award

 

ABOUT THE AWARD

This award may be made annually to an NDTMA member company or program / project (group of companies with a minimum of one NDTMA member company lead) in recognition of creativity in the form of innovative use of an NDT technology. Projects may be any that demonstrate innovation in the form of utilizing an established NDT method or technology in a new way or the creation of a new technology or type of NDT method.  Innovation means new approaches, new techniques and results.  The innovation should have broad impact on the NDT world.  The innovation should have been established in the last five (5) years.

ABOUT THE AWARD

This award may be made annually to an NDTMA member company or program / project (group of companies with a minimum of one NDTMA member company lead) in recognition of efforts to raise the awareness of NDT to those outside of the industry. Program / project may be any that involve bringing NDT awareness to schools, high school science teachers, guidance counselors, as well as programs that bring more people into the NDT industry. The program / project should have broad impact on the NDT world. The program / project should have been active during the year preceding the nomination.
